Itinerary
Day 1 : Cochin Sightseeing
Upon arrive in Cochin airport, meet our representative, after welcome, and proceed to the hotel.
Kochi is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most beautiful city of the state of Kerala. Rest day is free at leisure, you may explore the major market area where you can shop for excusive quality of nuts, spices and handicrafts. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Cochin Sightseeing
Today after having breakfast, embark for the city tour. During the city tour you will visit some of the most tourist attractions of Cochin. Visit Jewish Synagogue which was constructed in 1568.
Then visit St. Francis Church which was constructed in 1503. This church was built on the place where Vasco da Gama (the explorer) was buried, it is the oldest European cathedral in India.
Later visit the Dutch Palace, it is also known as Mattancherry Palace. . In 1557 the church of the palace was constructed by Portuguese, later it was passed to the Dutch during the pre-British period. A temple is also located in the courtyard. The major highlights of the palace is on the murals walls of the rooms of palace. Also explore the Chinese nets too. In the evening, enjoy the Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Cochin-Alleppey (By Road-54 kilometres) Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Alleppey is also known as Alappuzha. It is one of the oldest planned city of the Kerala, located about 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. It is famous for backwaters. There are at least six navigable canals in the town.
Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts.
Rest day is free at leisure, while the houseboat is cruising on the serene backwaters, enjoy the amazing view of paddy fields, coconut grooves and traditional village along with that you may also spot some beautiful birds.
Have your dinner. Overnight stay aboard the houseboat.
Day 4 : Alleppey-Kovalam (By Road-160 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed to Kovalam .The city of Kovalam is Kerala’s most popular tourist attraction. This beach town is located on the shores of Arabian Sea in Thiruvananthapuram city. The meaning of Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees which gives it the true significance as the entire town is surrounded by coconut trees. Three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main hotspot here.
On arrival, check in at the resort. Overnight stay at a resort. After freshen up, you have the choice to explore the beautiful beaches the town such as Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach and Samudra Beach, apart from this you may also enjoy the water sports activity such as kayaking, skiing swimming, you may also take relaxing Ayurvedic massage as well. Overnight Stay in Kovalam.
Day 5 : Kovalam-Trivandrum (By Road-19 kilometres) Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed Trivandrum by road. Thiruvananthapuram or Trivandrum is the capital city of the state of Kerala. It is one of the fifth largest city of the state of Kerala.The city is located on the foothill of Western Ghats and surrounded by the sea shore of the Arabian Sea. Thiruvananthapuram is the most visited tourist destination of Kerala.
Check in to the hotel at the time of arrival. After freshen up, proceed for the sightseeing of Trivandrum which includes places like Science and Technology Museum, Veli Tourist village, Shangmugham Beach, Museum Complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple and Aakulam boat club. Spend the night in the hotel at Trivandrum.
Day 6 : Trivandrum
